Jonah Crab and Artichoke Dip
The combination of sweet Jonah Crab meat from Maine, Artichoke Hearts and nutty Gruyere, make this warm Jonah Crab and Artichoke dip a knockout!

Ingredients
- 1 pound Jonah Crab meatShop
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup creme fraiche or sour cream
- I can (14 oz.) artichoke hearts, drained well and chopped
- 1 cup shredded Gruyere or Swiss cheese, divided
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red, orange or yellow bell pepper (optional)
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Sea salt and pepper to taste
- Serves 6-8
Directions
Preheat the oven to 400°F and generously grease an 8 or 9 inch baking dish. You can also make this in an ovenproof skillet.
In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, and creme fraiche. Blend well. Stir in artichokes, ½ cup Gruyere, mozzarella, bell pepper, green onions, and Worcestershire sauce. Fold in crab meat and season with salt and pepper.
Spread mixture into prepared dish and top with remaining ½ cup Gruyere.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown. Serve immediately with crusty bread slices or your favorite dippers.
