Shannon Harvey

A simplified and realistic drawing of a lobster claw.

Shannon Harvey is a 4th generation lobsterman working on the beautiful waters of Muscongus Bay. For Shannon, working on the water is a way of life and he’s never wanted to do anything else. Like other lobstermen, he’s embracing new aquaculture methods and learning how to harvest kelp

in order to help supplement his lobstering income in the spring. The conservation efforts of lobstermen like Shannon, and his father and grandfather before him have been key to sustaining the fishery and keeping it thriving for future generations.
